A Love theme Card

Hello friends,

Here' s posting a  card after a long time with some lovely new dies . I have used the I DO die to create a romantic scene  inspired by some amazing couple photographs and spring flower sprays i saw on Pinterest .

To add some defination I have brushed the edges of the couple die with Walnut stain distress ink.
The rose blooms and buds are handmade using the CL medium tea rose and daisy die watercoloured using distress stains and LSG sprays , its a delight to make these. I have added the delicate leaves that come with the tea rose die for foliage.

Some not so perfect pearlets on the crumpled border with the Lilith Doily peeping from the corner !The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday stamp , finally used them too ...

Thank you for stopping by and viewing my card , Linking  this up to the CL DT Call linkup here-

A Card from a sketch

Hi,

Here's a posting a shabby n floral card ,i have followed the Cardabilities sketch for this one -

I have used soft pastels and lots of woody earthy elements here. The gorgeous MME papers , the wooden frame ,the brown cord and importantly the wooden heart in the center ...

So here's my take on the sketch-

The flowers are all handmade using Cheery Lynn , IO and Spellbinders Roses, took quite a while to make these pretties !!!I have done some stenciling using homemade modelling paste on the left side of the pattern paper with the MB Rhapsody stencil.I have used the gorgeous Crafty Ann flourish here.

The sentiment is a diecut from the Hello Baby Diecuts paper pad , never thought it cud fit so well in here.A few more closeups of the blooms -

So how do u like my card , would love to know more , Thanks for stopping by , Happy Crafting!!!

Floral Pink

Hi,

Here's a post after almost a month , Life has been hetic since i have relocated to a new city in a new place, so just getting settled down ! Just to get back my motivation i started with making my fav flowers- Chrysanthmums , playing with shades of pink using mists and micas and than tried to match them with the right papers and embellies . Wanted to specially create something delicate , lacey and floral !

A few pics-

I  kept it fairly simple and shabby , added some gorgeous pollens , flourish, prima bling and fairy pebbles and the beautiful lace from my stash. The beau The Marriana die has been  heat embossed with LSG embossing powder.Love the shimmer and the shine it adds!

Quite contented with the final look... Hope you like it too!
Thanks for visting, Would love to see your comments ...Have a wonderful weekend!

A Spring verse

Hello ,

Here's a card from me in bright  floral colours and loads of greenery .

Well in this part of the world spring has more than arrived and we had both sunshine and rains last week just like what this lovely sentiment says. I picked it from the Graphic 45 Secret Garden Papers .

I have tried arranging the blooms and the foliage almost like a wreath with the sentiment nested in it .The orange bloom is from the sweet williams die , i have almost made it look like a marigold leaving  white spaces on the petals for a natural effect .Have used the gorgeous Basic Grey papers lying in stash along with loads of textures and layers. I have also added the CL Anastasia Border in green PP around the lattice frame .
Also the tiny flowers and the flourish strip are from the CL dies coloured with distress stains and inks .

The background lattice is coloured using Momento Cantaloupe and distress ink crushed olive .
Hope you like my card , would love to know your comments .Thanks for stopping by , Have a great weekend ahead !

A Floral Card

Hello Friends,

Sooo excited to share this card , here's how it looks -

Well i am really hooked on to making roses , i started this card by making the roses first and than finally picked some of my not so used dies. The technique for these spellbinders roses is something i hit upon by chance , is totally new to me as well and i am just loving it ....
Here's a close up-

I have created the BG for this card using Gesso , distress inks - walnut stain , vintage photo and the Kaisercarft script stamp. The frame is Memory Box which has been embossed and coloured using LSG sprays.

Both the Butterfly and the roses have been paper pierecd from Prima Lyric papers .The sentiment is from Penny black and the gorgeous flourish is a marriana die coloured using shabby shutters distress stain ..

So how do you like my card ..Love to read your comments , Thanks a lot for stopping by.
Have a great weekend ahead !
