Exciting News - Announcing the DCAM CHALLENGES!!!

Hello my dear crafty friends ,
I'm so thrilled to be sharing this wonderful news with you all today!I am lucky enough to have been chosen to join as a DT the new DCAM Challenge an initiative by Die Cuts and More yayyyy!!!

The role of the DT is to help answer crafters questions, judge monthly group challenges and make tutorials for the challenge themes.

Slider Box with tag

Hello friends,

Finally a quick post after a very long time ,Here's a vintage style slider box with a coordinating tag -

Have used a mix of different papers from the Graphic 45 Secret Garden , Prima Lyric and MME  and the silver charm is my newest buy from the Ribbon Girl shop , a few more pics -

The pale pink blooms are from cheery lynn sweet william and have coloured them with distress stains and LSG starburst spray, the box sides are also coloured with LSG burnt amber mist

Embossed Card

Hi,

Finally am glad to post out this card, this detailed one just got created at the last minute when i was almost on the verge of giving it up totally. After playing around with the layout , i finally thought this was it !
Here is how it looks-

I have attempted to make a lavish card with the paper tearing effect and layers, i have used the beautiful cheery lynn filegree hearts die from Crafters corner.

The blooms are handmade from MB die colourwashed with distress inks and the centers are added from some dainty pink pollens.The colourful basket-weave embossing is  done with a blend of  chalk and pigment inks and my favourite pickled raspberry distress ink .Also have added some fine pie lane white glitter around the edges of the card. And the fab sentiment, its one of my favourite, such a perfect one is from Fiskars Love quotes stamp set. Also notice the blue and pink colour peeping from beneath the beautiful lace, i think it adds a delicate touch , So many details ,i think i can go on and on...

Bird House Card

Hi,

Finally here is a new card, this is not my usual style , just an attempt to craft a scene with a cute new die.

I have tried to mix fabric and paper in this one with some bright pastel colours

 A Few em-bellies Pearls, twine,foam glitter butterfly, white fibers behind the bird house) , dies and one punch with a beautiful fabric tape from my stash and lots of inspirations from  Crafters Corner color palette is what i used for this card! Instead of a sentiment , i have used a banner to project the bird house , and also this is yet one more with Butterflies and blooms ! PP are a mix from Nana s nursery baby girl, Basic Grey and Fancy Pants Baby Mine , the alphas, have been colored with MS glitter pens .The blue dotted background is embossed with hero arts blue shadow ink.

Lattice Card

Hi  everyone,

This is my third post in a row with blooms and a butterfly , and i believe still there would be many more to come, it just doesn't get monotonous anymore :)

Wanted to make a lattice background card, this happens to be my very first one ,hope u like it !( The idea of using the tessatine border for the lattice is inspired from Hussena :) i think its a great idea)

 The dainty layered yellow flowers are handmade using the MB fancy blossoms , also i have added some pollens for the center part, the butterfly is embellished with some pie lane glitter and pearls.

Daisies on frame

Made this one with some of my favorite dies , the spiral daisy die makes a perfect daisy bloom in just few mins , so glad to have got it .All the flowers and the flourishes-have been rubbed with brilliance gold ink .I have used shades of orange ,browns and yellows against the handmade gold frame . Recycled box

Hello everyone,

I thoroughly enjoyed making this one, made it in 1 day flat and now its ready to be gifted . I have tried to use vivid and bright colours so reminiscent of spring and also my new dies..

This was the Tea Bag Box before -

Here's how it looks after recycling it -

Just loving the cheery lynn Anastasia border ,it looks perfectly like a crochet lace. Also i simplyadore these tiny Impression Obsession butterflies ,they add a lovely flutter I have added a second layer onto the butterflies by die cutting a leftover white lacy doily , and distressed it too. I think it makes a wonderful idea to die cut a lacy doily ,gives a delicate touch.Here's a look at the bloom , it nearly took me 2 hours to make this chyrsanthmum
