Love is in the Air

Hello,

After seeing Huseena's delightful love themed Magnolia card it was hard to resist making another Magnolia creation.So here i have made a tilda wall hanging.Hope it brightens your day !

Here 's a view -

Wanted to add a lacy look around the image so have made the half circle arches with the the MFT mini dollies .The background white heart dollie has been heat set with hibiscus pink micas ,i love the shimmer that it addsThe dotted paper has been distressed and the sentiment is a rub on ,i think it conveys a lovey dovey wish so nicely with less fuss.I have colored the adorable image with distress inks and have used pencils for the shading.Have stitched the big dotted bow ,its real easy to do that. And the lil one is from a piece of itsy bitsy washi tape from my stash.

A Purse with Tags

Finally ready to share this elaborate File purse with inside Tags .Have made this as a wedding Gift for a dear one.I got the Tutorial  on Splitcoaststampers and had to try making it. Here's a closeup -

I have used my Newest and favorite My Minds Eye - The Sweetest Thing - Lavender- Paper Pad for this.I love the main sentiment saying which is a piece from the  traditional wedding vows.

For the blooms l have used MFT Layered roses created from distressed papers with which had swirls stamped on them .Also have inked the edges of the blooms and the paper with a gold ink pad.The MFT layered circle has some heat embossing with micas which gives out a lovely two toned glow.

On the inside i have added these Tags with Wedding sentiments/vows a Fiskars Just Married stamp set which is my newest buy from Crafters Corner .Love them cause they really add a special emotion to the project

Recycled Box Frame

This is a recycled box frame with a coordinating tag having a fairy Tilda with wings. I am crazy about anything pink so picked my favorite paper from My minds eye sweetest thing paper collection.

 Coloured the Tilda with distress inks, did this for the first time hopefully got it right. A few closeups -

 The flower on the tag is stamped using the coordinating My Minds Eye Lavender cutie pie stamp with pink distress ink.

Got the 3 looped bow right after several attempts.Also the bottom flourish has been heat embossed with Mica Hibiscus rose powder. And have used my favorite MFT crochet Border die and the mini tab label for the sentiment .

Birthday Card

Hello everyone ,finally posting a card after a long time since its been quite hectic plus my lil one is always around to help with my craft.

I have tried to bring out the shades of  brown with the  distressed background and the layers.Have highlighted the sentiment  with the MB Tiffany Frame which is also mounted on a embossed distressed label.And the pink  vellum flowers are handmade from MS Cornflower punch.Have attempted to give them a carnation kind of a look.Overall the idea is to have a flowery pastel card with a vintage touch. Have added the shaded MFT Dollies to fill in the spaces. Hope you like the card

Anniv Card

Hello Everyone!
Sharing this card to celebrate a dear ones Anniversary.

The roses are punch crafted and took quite sometime to finish.Also I have tried shading  them with an old pink and peach makeup palette instead of inks and i think they look neat.Added the spellbinders circle cut in felt for a soft touch.


Wrapped the roses in a ruffled lace for a bouquet look and adhered them to the Crochet Washi Tape. Here's a closeup

 The heart shape is cut from Kaiser craft Love Notes Paper Collection and the Anniversary Sentiments are from Paper-mania.And the gorgeous Butterfly is memory Box Vivienne one  cut in holo card. The Border piece is stamped using inkadinkado Flower Flourish stamp on a Pink Distressed background and outlines with 3d glitter out liner.

Flowers witha Fairy

This card is close to my heart  cause it has my fav color  Blue and i added a character to a card  for the first time.

Filled with lots of details i thoroughly had to cut and cut and cut to get the stamped swirls in place .Also used the Martha Stewart glitter markers to add the shine.Finally i am so happy to post it out .

A CAS Card

Hello everyone,

 I had a florescent blue card stock a  lil too bright so toned it down by layering it with white vellum and it got the subtle blue look .To add more depth ran it through the cuttle bug daisy embossing folder. And got the blue whitey background for my card .Definitely vellum gives a great feel to a plain card stock. Also used the cuttle bug flowers and made the scrunchy look layered flower .Added the silver ribbon stamped the Hero arts Sentiment and got the card together ...Hope its simple and casual .
